The Pain Will Pass.. Choose Yourself!!!!

You know it is my personal testimony that a women who honors herself and establishes who she is in the Divine God will be a confident force to be reckon with. I know 1st hand that in all situations INTEGRITY always win. Even when it doesn't seem as if it will. When I was married I remember feeling like I was not getting what I needed from my husband emotionally and spiritually. It was a very hard combination to live with. Here I am a women who claims to love herself and is constantly encouraging other women on loving themselves and not to make excuses as to why you are not living your very best you. What I felt for myself internally was not expressed in my life externally. I had a very difficult decision to make.I had done everything in my FIBER to make my marraige work but you cannot do it alone, it takes two people. I left my husband while we were raising two children. It was the most difficult thing I had ever done. I left with 27.00 dollars in my pocket and faith that the most high GOD was going to lead my footsteps. I can't explain how I knew, I just did. It was strong in my spirit that I was going to be okay. In a matter of 6 months while going through a very ugly divorce, and a bad economy I landed two great jobs plus I continued to write my blog. I was able to place my children in one of the best school systems in the United States and God has blessed me in ways that my  mind could not  conceive. Ladies I am here to tell you that if you are in a situation that causes you to lose the essence of who you are, what you stand for, and it causes you to compromise your integrity; try to find your voice in the midst of the darkness where the Divine God dwells. He is waiting for you and he just needs you to dig deep and find the strength to extend your hand our towards the light. He will yank you right out. Trust and believe me there is so much in store for you if you are willing to push through the stormy pain. It will not last always .. You are building emotional and spiritual muscle. Do not settle for less. You are heir to the throne of royalty... NO ONE SHOULD LOVE YOU MORE THAN YOU and GOD... NO ONE... So the love we search for to find affirmation and a sense of validation is in you for you. Love yourself past your pain. What is made for harm can be transformed into God's great plan for your life. Be willing to trust the voice inside of you..I am here as your sister to help encourage  you.. Have a awesome day and email me if  you need any words of affirmation. I am here for you.. Here we are on the third month of the year.. Can you believe it. Okay so many of you have made resolutions.. How are you all doing with them so far? Well, I hope your choices are decisive. Reason being is everything that we experience today is the result of choices we made in the past.
We have control over three things in life - the thoughts you think, the images you visualize, and the action you take (your behavior). How you use those three things determined everything you experience. If you don't like what you are experiencing, you have to change your responses. Change your negative thoughts to positive ones. Change what you say to your truth. Change friends or whatever needed to get the change you need. See you may not be able to change the actual circumstance but you can change yourself and take 100% responsibility for what you do,say and respond to...

HAPPY 2013 QUEENS!!!!!

Happy New Year my Queens!!!!! Can you believe it? The year is 2013 and I am extremely excited about life and the living life on purpose with a purpose. Today, I want to kick start color blind women's OFFICIAL RELAUNCH!!! This year the conversation is going to be very interactive... We will actually meet one another and have round table conversation with men, children ,health educators and more. I cannot wait!! I invite you to this sister circle to uplift you and be the girlfriend that reminds you how awesome you are when you can't ; to hold you accountable to your dreams when you feel discouraged, to love you past your pain when you don't recognize yourself in the mirror; and of course to celebrate all your milestones and accomplishments. This is your platform to be informed and to be embraced by positive energy..I am Dina McKinley and I am THIS year I am a single mother of two;a gem of a boy 10 and a gem of a girl 7yrs old. I am a sister,friend, counselor,advocate, and a force to be reckoned with when it comes to uplifting sisters to be the BEST VERSION of THEMSELVES...

I challenge you this year to evaluate what does your best you look like and what do you think is preventing it? What is the cause of any short coming you possess and how can we get you out of that space. This year no more excuses. They are chants of nothingness... This year is about putting things into action.. Lets go ladies, we will be learning about love, motherhood, health, money and much much more... Be a DOER and not a TALKER.. OWN YOUR HAPPINESS in a whole space.. Learn to communicate and stop settling. BE what you expect... This way you can draw the right energy around you... Learn your love language, and your mates so you can communicate properly to one another. Let's learn how to celebrate our good men and our boys so they can grow being good men who knows how great support looks like. We are not sisters who exclude our men we welcome their input and point of view..  So let the RELAUNCH BEGIN!!!! I will be talking to you soon. Remember live life on purpose with a purpose.... What is Christmas to you????

Its amazing how fast time flies by when we continue to be busy people. I tend to feel like every year Christmas comes and I am NEVER prepared.. I watch as families gather together to do their family traditions like, shopping, skiing, ice skating, plays and church events...

I have not been able to truly declare what this holiday means to me. I mean my last true memory of Christmas as a child was when I was twelve years old and it all encompassed around my church and school. I think that was the last time I was excited about it and I mean truly excited. My love that was tied to it was the singing in the choir at church. Understanding that this holiday for me was about the birth of Jesus Christ. Understanding the significance of the birth being in a manger and not in a castle. The three wise men and their role. Needless to say it was all about my spirituality.

Well quite obvious I am no longer twelve years old. I now have a family of my own. I am now a single mother who has to create the Christmas meaning for my two children. What is that meaning?
Well I teach my children the teachings of my beliefs and I explain to them that its the giving that really counts. We usually do some volunteering in order to give them a real perspective on being blessed and having gratitude for what they have.  Christmas in my family is about being the person with the pitcher pouring into others cup. Rather than having your hands open to receive. I now challenge you to contemplate what does Christmas mean to you?

YOU ARE ENOUGH!!!!

Hello ladies it's been awhile. The constant moving and shaking of life just gets in the way of breathing at a normal pace at times. My thoughts today is about the value of women. As I observe day in and day out the movement and conversation of women. I can't help but to giggle. We are all so different and colorful in our looks,thoughts, our expressions, verbiage and opinion. Where does the image of ourselves come from? Some may say their mother. Others may say media or lack of certain components can shape us as women as well. The men we choose as mates can have a huge effect on how we view ourselves at time. The men in our lives that we declare our love for; how does he not value all of what you have to offer. The woman that sacrificed her body to extend the man's legacy. How does he value you when he dismisses your thoughts and opinions? To often we find ourselves in these relationships that we invest in only to wake up and not recognize ourselves anymore. How does that happen? How does the man WE CHOSE who have broken our heart;cause us from ever letting our hearts love again; when the very fiber of our makeup is encompassed around LOVE. We allow the brokenness to do so much damage. We own the pain to the point it cripples us in our finances, dreams, sexuality, self esteem, and worst our worth!! It is time to look mirror and have a heart to heart talk with the soul in you. You know the one closest to the Divine, God, Allah, Yahweh, Jehovah and Jesus. There is that voice in you that tries to remind you how great you were together before you were coerced into the lies about your power and your worth. Tell the voice how sorry you are and how much you miss her. Tell her that this was not the plan and it is NEVER NEVER NEVER to late to change the situation. You may be afraid to make a move but it is pushing through the fear that provides growth and success. Don't be enslaved in your mind. Lets go to mental and emotional battle to reclaim who we are. That means every time your mind says I can't do this or you are not good enough, or pretty enough, you can't lose the weight, your not intelligent enough, I want you to replace it with I am a child of God heir to his thrown through him I can accomplish anything. Say it over and over until you believe it. Make this your new truth from now on. You are enough and let me be the first to say with my heart I LOVE YOU and ALL that YOU STAND FOR!!!!! Know that I am an ADVOCATE FOR YOU MY SISTER!! WE are CITIZENS of the HUMAN RACE!!!! Remember you are contributors of mother earth..RECLAIM!!

Hello my beautiful sisters!! I truly hope you have had an awesome week. Ladies it is time to start living the life you've imagine. What is holding you back? We have the right to have the vision and set forth a constructive plan to achieve it. One of the greatest myths today is that we are entitled to a great life-that some how, somewhere, someone(certainly not us) is responsible for filling our lives with continual happiness,exciting career options, nurturing family time,and blissful personal relationships simply because we exist.
But the real truth is that there is only one person responsible for the quality of life you live. That person is you!!!
If you want to be successful you have to take 100% responsibility for everything that you experience in your life. That includes the level of your achievements, the results you produce, your income, your debts, your feelings-everything!
This is not easy. In fact most or us have been conditioned to blame something or someone outside of ourselves for the parts of our life we don't like. Own the YOU in YOU!!! Be your biggest cheerleader. Also be prepared to face the TRUTH about your circumstances. We must take personal responsibility.You cannot change the circumstances,seasons,or the wind,but you can change yourself!! Never let people talk you out of your treasures. You were born with the tools; its about maneuvering it. If you have positive people around, lean on them to help and hold you accountable to your dreams. If not that ok too. You can push yourself through the hard work. Max Lucado said" You were deliberately planned,specifically gifted, and lovingly position on earth by the Master Craftsman"!! Believe it.. Let's do it. Let's live on purpose. I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!!

Time to get our money STRAIGHT!!!

More than ever we are in a society that is feeding us the constant news of recession. During this hard and maybe even impossible time we need to prepare our mind for financial success. This is the time to step out on faith and trust your instincts. What are your gifts? Not what others have as gifts but, yours exclusively. It may be something you take for granted like organizing, cooking, losing weight (exercising), talking or reading. What ever your hobby is that you love to do. That you would do  for free. It is time to tap into it. I love to write and talk to people about empowering themselves. So I wrote a blog to empower women. You never know where your fortune lies. Get online do your research; ask question and most importantly don't look for affirmation. YOU ARE ALL THE AFFIRMATION YOU NEED!!!! TRUST IN the GIFT in YOU!!! TRUST YOU!!!!!!!!!! I cannot tell you how many times we let other people's opinions talk us out of our future destined for us. It is sad! You should be your biggest cheerleader. If you have other to cheer for you than great. If not that is ok. What belongs to you cannot be duplicated. It is your gift especially assigned to you. Don't waste it. It is never too late. Just think outside the box. Once you do that it is time to think of how it can make a profit for you. On your mark, get set now GO!! I cannot wait to receive the comments on what you discovered.
